Each quarter, students in grades 6 through 8 are given the opportunity to choose from a list of elective classes that are offered in order to enrich their De Marillac education. Electives are taught by DMA teachers as well as volunteers from the greater community. The variety of courses offered each quarter is dependent on the talents of the elective instructors. This quarter, we are able to offer courses in painting, fencing, running, basketball, French, baking, singing, and “urban detectives”. Past quarters have included other offerings such as: soccer, theater, sign language, Italian, crochet, knitting, and water colors. Share your interests and talents with children while helping them discover their own! Classes are held each Tuesday from 3:15 - 4:00pm Contact Mrs. Jodi Drake, Assistant Principal, at 415.552.5220 x22 or here for more information.
