De Marillac Academy’s year-round academic schedule is enhanced by a mandatory summer program for all students. De Marillac students take part in Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory’s month-long “Summer in the City” program. Students further develop their academic skills through a variety of scholastic programs, and also take part in sports, theatre, and arts camps. Catholic Charities CYO sponsors a weeklong camp for children from the San Francisco Archdiocese at Caritas Creek in Occidental, CA. De Marillac students participate in differing outdoor activities that increase their environmental awareness, build community, and promote spiritual growth, while also expanding social skills and capabilities. Students new to De Marillac also participate in an orientation to the school community that highlights academic and social expectations of each member of De Marillac Academy. |
